Where are you from?
I am from Nepal, a country landlocked between two Asian giants – India and China. Nepal boasts of being the land of Mount Everest and numerous other Himalayan ranges, the Sherpas, the Gurkhas, Buddha, the most unique flag, and, of course being never colonized by any country in the world. I come from the city of Mahendranagar in the Far Western region of Nepal. However, I received my education from the capital city of Kathmandu.
What would you like to tell about yourself?
I describe myself as a pragmatic optimist and a dreamer. I tend to focus on the light at the end of the tunnel and walk towards it rather than worrying about the length of the walk. I do not give up easily on things I am passionate about. Poems help me express myself. I find joy in traveling, playing cricket, and reading novels in leisure.

My mission as a Tampere - All Bright! Ambassador is to give back as much as I can to Tampere – city that welcomed me with open arms, and offered the best in a short time frame. I would like to promote Tampere as an innovation hub for entrepreneurs. Tampere offers great opportunities of collaboration among academia, businesses, innovative and research institutions, and talents. This presence of resources and intent renders an opportunity to create an explosive ecosystem where innovation and entrepreneurship thrive.
What potential do you see for Tampere in the future?
People of Tampere 'own' the idea of Tampere's progress and prosperity. This ownership has been the key for success of Tampere in the past and it will continue to be so. I see Tampere becoming the innovation and entrepreneurship hub of Finland in ten years down the line. Talents and professionals, regardless of their nationalities, have been fueling the culture of taking the lead in creating value through successful ideas. I see growth and only growth for Tampere.
