What would you like to tell about yourself?
I am a Bachelor student in Economics at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico. Currently studying at University of Applied Sciences of Tampere in Bachelor of International Business. I consider myself as responsible, ambitious, optimistic, brave person, especially persistent with my ideals and objectives. Every day, I try to improve my personal and professional development. I love to learn.
What makes Tampere special for you?
I love its incredible views of lakes adorned by nature. It allows me to meet wonderful, honest and hardworking people. Tampere has been part of the hardest change in my life, to live in Tampere has helped me to grow and above all to enjoy every moment. I also fight for my dreams day by day and to find inner peace. Although it is not the city that saw me grow, Tampere is tattooed on my skin ... it is home, where my heart is.
Tell about your professional activities?
At the moment i am a Full-time student. I share Spanish information about the culture and traditions of Mexico in the schools of Finland.
What is your involvement in international activities?
Being part of innovation events where I work with different nationalities as a team to solve cases given by real companies and organizations.
What is your mission as a Tampere Ambassador?
Make Tampere a more recognized city.
I would like people to know the opportunities that Tampere gives professionally. The beautiful landscapes and the diversity of activities that Tampere offers during each season of the year. Experience the weather in its dark days and bright nights, the dance of the aurora borealis, its museums, parks and above all live its culture and traditional sauna.
What potential do you see for Tampere in the future?
Tampere is a sustainable city that has a great potential to increase its contribution to Finland´s economic growth, being one of the cities with more habitants and with companies that are constantly looking for innovation, technological development and new solutions, how to do it better. I see a future Tampere as a tourist city offering services, products, jobs, education and first quality housing being attractive for foreign companies to invest and expand markets.
