Where are you from?
I am from Latvia.

What would you like to tell about yourself?
I am goal determined person who has passion of doing things rather that talking about them. I am helpful and positive. There is also strong creative part inside of me which comes visible in ways of different knowledge perception and art creation. Playing piano is my way of relaxation.

What makes Tampere special for you?
Living in Tampere started back then with exchange studies. After 3 months of studies I realized that I feel here like at home. Never before have got that feeling while living abroad or even in my home country. It had a big role when it came to making decision of staying here and starting my integration in here.

Tell about your professional activities?
I have a strong will and understanding of migrant inflow into the society and what it takes to be a migrant entrepreneur. I have a professional experience and knowledge in dealing with companies willing to expand in Finland. At the moment I am working in the field of migrant entrepreneurs’ activation and their business sustainability in Tampere.

What is your involvement in international activities?
As I am foreigner myself, I have at first a strong foreign network in Tampere, which gives me a possibility to reach any place in the world through those country representatives. Sure I have a strong understanding of business life and culture in Baltic States and I can offer easy access to actors in those countries.

What is your mission as a Tampere Ambassador?
I am interested to connect Tampere with international business activities and emphasize the benefit of international talent skills for Finnish society.

What potential do you see for Tampere in the future?
Tampere is a fast growing city both mentally and physically. It has a great location which is easy to reach. The city easily stays along to the opportunity of becoming an example for other cities of implementing new century technologies. Resources for implementation can be easily found nearby.
