Through EURES (European Employment Services) network, employers extend their search for labour force easily across the borders. As a part of the public employment structure, the services are free of charge. The EURES network serves both job seekers and employers across Europe.
EURES advisers will help you initiate the recruitment process and publish your job advertisement on a European scale or by focusing on a specific country. The local partners of the EURES network will advise you on where and how to best recruit employees. If needed, you can also use the network to set up a tailored recruitment and interview event for your company in your selected target country.
EURES Portal can be utilized in the recruitment: it is a European job bank for vacancies and candidates. Employers can announce vacancies and browse applicants’ CVs.
The European Job Days is an opportunity for jobseekers and employers from across Europe to meet and make contact. To make European Job Days accessible to as many people as possible we have recently created the European Online Job Days that allow employers and jobseekers to come together "virtually" without being physically present at an onsite event.
Your first EURES job: you can apply for financial support when you employ a young person aged 18-35 from another EU country and Norway and Iceland. The financial support is given for language training, job introduction or in-house training. Please contact a Eures Adviser to get help with your recruitment. With the project Labour mobility in Europe, funded by the European Social Fund, EURES offers new services targeted to the companies. New services include: training in the country of origin (mainly in social and health care sector), workplace language training in Finnish and/or Swedish; diversity training at workplace and professional skills tests.
