TWINKLE is built by the power of volunteers
The TWINKLE Organising Committee or OC consists of 15 people from around the world. Approximately one hundred volunteers from various professions support the OC by working in different teams and as event assistants. One of the OC members is Linda Garcia from Colombia, who studies Finnish language and culture in Tampere. She is in charge of coordinating the volunteers.
"The TWINKLE movement has become a wonderful chance to learn to know people from different backgrounds, who share the same goal of making the Finnish business life more international," she says. "Diversity is the keyword: we have professionals of international business, architects, designers, journalists, engineers, IT-experts, entrepreneurs, photographers, directors, dancers, musicians, to name a few. At the moment we are also looking for Finnish students and professionals, especially graphic designers as well as seminar assistants to help us at the registration desk."
